The Massachusetts Office of Business Development work with the Department of Career Services to ensure the maximum utilization-and success-of the Workforce Training Fund.

The Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD), an agency of the Department of Economic Development, serves companies, individuals and communities across the Commonwealth. Whether a company needs to train employees for a new manufacturing line, find financing for an innovation, or work through the licensing issues surrounding a new construction, the Massachusetts Office of Business Development serves as their point of contact.

With the creation of five One-Stop business centers, individuals in large companies or small businesses no longer need to know all of the services and regulations of the state. One-Stop Business Centers are located in Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Lowell and Dartmouth.
