An interview is an opportunity for an employer to learn more about you than what is written on your resume, and to determine if you are a good match for the position they need to fill.  In an interview, an employer wants to know:

    • Can you do the job? (Do you have the credentials, experience, training, and education required?)
    • Will you do the job? (Are you motivated to succeed?)
    • Will you fit in? (Will they like you and be able to work with you?)

A good interview means the difference between getting and not getting a job, so be prepared, make a great first impression, and follow up appropriately.
