If a person appears to vote who does not speak English or any language in which the ballot and Notice of Election are written, the Division agent will attempt to secure a translator agreeable to all parties. If a translator can be secured, the agent will instruct the translator to read only the information on the ballot, and, if necessary, the Notice of Election to the voter. However, the translator will not be permitted to accompany the voter to the voting booth or to mark the ballot for the voter.
