If a voter is blind or otherwise disabled so that he or she is unable vote without assistance, they may be permitted to have someone accompany them to the voting booth. It is preferable for a non-employee family member or friend to render assistance, and if not available, a non-unit employee. If none of these individuals are available, the voter may be assisted by a unit employee of his/her choice. None of the parties, their observers, or the Division agent will be allowed to assist a voter to mark the ballot.
