Approximately half way through the mailing period, each party will receive written instructions for the day of the count. These instructions notify the parties that the Division agent will leave the Division at 10:00 a.m. to pick up the ballots at the post office, and explain how the ballots are verified, sorted and counted; and how many observers each party may have. The parties should submit the names of the observers to the Division agent in writing.
