Union Out-of-State: A letter of good standing from the local you are affiliated with, and a letter stating the union has an apprentice program registered within their state. The Union must also have reciprocity with Massachusetts and their apprentices must have reciprocal ID cards.
Open Shop: A letter of good standing from reciprocal states Division of Apprentice Standards, the number of journeymen currently employed and copies of the apprentice agreements for each apprentice who will be working in MA. The Company (Sponsor) must also have reciprocity with Massachusetts and their apprentices must have reciprocal ID cards.
Both Union & Open Shop: Reciprocity must be established in Massachusetts before any verification will be issued. If it has not been established the reciprocity application must be completed before any verifications can be issued.
