I Need to become a Licensed Lead-Safe Renovation Contractor--What do I need to do?

To become licensed as a Lead-Safe Renovation Contractor, you must do the following:

  1. Click on the Lead-Safe Renovation Contractor Application link, download the Lead-Safe Renovation Contractor application and complete the form.
  2. Attach the applicable documents as required in Section II and a certified
    check or money order for the application fee.
  3. Mail or hand-deliver the completed application and accompanying documents to DLS's Boston office for review. Allow 2-3 weeks for us to process your application. We will contact you if we need more information. Please note: incomplete applications that are submitted will cause the processing time to be delayed considerably. After approval, we will mail your license to you.
