Career Center Offers Job Fair for Metro South/West Region

Event to Include a Managing Your Job Search Seminar and Résumé Critiques for Job Seekers

Boston – June 1, 2012 – The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development today announced that the Employment and Training Resources One-Stop Career Center for the Metro South/West region of Massachusetts will host a job fair on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (doors open at 10 a.m. for Veterans) at the Natick Crowne Plaza Hotel (The Verve), 1360 Worcester Street, Natick.

Admission to the job fair is free and job seekers from across the Commonwealth are welcome. Pre-registration is recommended by calling one of the Employment and Training Resources Career Center’s three offices in Marlborough (508-786-0928), Newton (617-928-0530), or Norwood (781-769-4120).

The job fair will showcase 78 employers with over 1,000 job openings from across the region. Job fair highlights will include:

• Managing Your Job Search Seminar (pre-registration not required)
• 15-minute Résumé Critiques provided by certified professional résumé writers

The Employment and Training Resources One-Stop Career Center urges attendees to research the companies and positions of interest and bring updated copies of résumés.
