The Massachusetts DUA Debit MasterCard® has replaced checks as a way of receiving your unemployment benefit payments. Unless you sign up for direct deposit to a checking or savings account, you will receive benefit payments via the debit card. If you do not want to receive benefits on a debit card, direct deposit is a safe, convenient, and reliable alternative.
