QUEST Bulletin

o The 2013 TPA Client/Rate file dated 03/22/2013 is now available for TPAs to download. 

o Unemployment Health Insurance Rate (UHI) for 2013:  The UHI Contribution rate will be a flat rate of 0.48 percent for calendar year 2013 and 2012 for all subject employers. The UHI rate “tiers” are still the same at .04 percent and .08 percent for three and four years respectively for newly subject employers per Massachusetts General Law (MGL) 151A.

o 1st Quarter Deferral Option: If you are eligible for a deferral, you must file and make a payment no later than 3:00 p.m. on April 30, 2013. The deferral option will not be available after this date. Deferrals are not available for Third Party Administrators who file in bulk.

o 1st Quarter 2013 Filing Deadline: Employment and Wage Detail Reports and Payments must be submitted by 4/30/2013. Beginning this quarter, late filings will incur a penalty and/or interest charges, as provided under MGL 151A, Section 14P. Employers are encouraged to file in advance of the deadline. To file online, log in and select "Employment and Wage Detail Reporting".
