    Eligibility decisions which considered whether a claimant quit a job for a good reason and whether that reason was attributable to the employer.

    These cases considered eligibility for benefits where a legal impediment prevented a claimant from remaining at a job. 

  • VL 500.00 To Accept New F.T. Employment

    In these cases, the Board rendered eligibility decisions based upon whether a claimant voluntarily left a job in order to accept a permanent full-time position with another employer.

  • VL 600.00 Urgent, Compelling, and Necessitous

    The Board made eligibility decisions based upon whether a claimant left work for an urgent, compelling, and necessitous reason.

  • VL 700.00 Voluntary Separation Package

    In these case, claimants who voluntarily resigned in exchange for a monetary separation package were eligible for benefits only if they reasonably believed that their jobs were in jeopardy.
