The goal of Vocational Rehabilitation is to get the injured employee back to work, earning as close as possible to the pre-injury salary. Vocational Rehabilitation covers all non-medical services that the injured employee may require seeking retraining.
Services may include evaluation of the injured worker's capabilities; vocational testing and counseling or guidance; workplace modifications and/or placement assistance and formal training.
If requested to attend a meeting with one of the Fall River Rehabilitation Review Officers, the injured employee must attend the meeting. Failure to attend a Mandatory Meeting may result in the discontinuation of benefits.
