The bar-coded cover sheets will be utilized to identify and scan all hard copy (paper) documents that will be submitted to the DIA.

The bar-code generation module is very user-friendly and a single cover sheet takes only seconds to create. The user only needs to select the correct document type from a pull-down list and enter between 2 and 5 pieces of information about the document. For example, if you have a Conference packet with 25 documents, creating cover sheets for all 25 should take about 10 to 15 minutes.

Simply follow the steps to create a cover sheet for each document to be submitted. See Tutorial #1 - Creating Cover Sheets ppt format of attorney_tutorial.ppt

Remember that paper documents submitted to the DIA must have a cover sheet and must be free of any fasteners (no paperclips, staples, binder clips allowed). A packet of documents held together by a large rubber band or single binder clip is ok. Click here to see what a completed bar-coded cover sheet looks like ppt format of presentation_2.ppt
