It has come to the attention of the Division of Marine Fisheries (MarineFisheries) that there is a delay in the production and distribution of 2007 trap tags to applicants. All valid 2006 trap tags will therefore remain valid through June 14, 2007. Valid 2007 trap tags will be required by June 15, 2007. Under 322 CMR 3.07 & 6.12 all commercial fish and conch pots as well as lobster traps must bear valid trap tags.
