Are you a mortgage holder who is researching current property tax, address or other information?

While MassGIS is in the midst of a multi-year property parcel standardization project, the currency of the property information may not be the most up to date record available.

In Massachusetts, each of the 351 individual cities and towns are responsible for maintaining their property tax information; there is no county or statewide database.  The majority of communities have an online assessing feature where you can view the most current information in an online database. However, each community must be accessed separately. Look for the name of the city or town in your record and use a search engine to find "city or town name, MA online assessing" ex: "Cambridge, MA online assessing". If no result is returned search for the assessors office and call them directly.
