Aside from using the Web interface provided on this site, users may download data using any FTP client software, or by typing ftp at the DOS or UNIX prompt and proceeding to enter ftp commands. To do so, connect to the Internet and then open a connection to data.massgis.state.ma.us (or 64.119.128.73) by logging in as anonymous. No password is required. Then cd to the pub directory, under which you will find the following directories:

coloroq2 - Two-meter 1994 coastal color orthophotos, TIFF format
dtm - Digitial Terrain Model (elevation point) text files (compressed in self-extracting .exes) from 1990s ortho/elevation project
images/2005_jp2_lossy - 2005 color orthos from original half-meter GeoTIFFs, in JPEG 2000 (lossy) format
