Map / CD Data Fee Increase

MassGIS present fees for maps and
data CD-ROMs were originally set in 1989.
In that time, our cost for providing these records has gone up
substantially.
We have been able to keep the fees unchanged over the years by
substantially reducing the time it takes to produce the maps and
data.
However, the fees no longer keep
up with our costs, so we applied to the Executive Office of
Administration and Finance for a fee increase.
That fee increase was approved in late January.
The new fees are described in detail below
1. DEP
MCP 21e NRS Site Scoring Maps are $35.00 each and $5.00 per
additional copy.
2. Large Format Maps -
most are $40 each and $5.00 per additional copy.
Prices for some maps are not set by MassGIS
and so are exceptions to the above pricing.
The exceptions include:

Digital Data (CDs) - The prices for the digital data
CDs have been standardized.
For any CD set
the first 3 CDs
are each $50.00 (e.g., 3 CDs is
$150) and $30 per CD for each of
the additonal CDs in the set
* Most of the
standard CD sets are 1 CD ($50)
The exceptions include:
$300.00
- Statewide data (8 CD set)
(CD 1-3
are $150 plus the remaining 5 CDs x $30 = $150. The total is
$300.00)
$360.00 - 1/2
m Black and White Orthophotos - MrSID ( 10 CD set)
(CD 1-3 are $150 plus the
remaining 7 CDs x $30 = $210. The total is $360.00)
$210.00 - USGS
Topographic Quad - TIFF ( 5 CD set)
(CD 1-3 are $150 plus the
remaining 2 CDs x $30 = $60. The total is $210.00)
Regional Data and Custom
orders - prices vary depending on number of CDs.
1 CD = $50
2 CDs = $100
3 CDs = $150
4 CDs = $180
5 CDs = $210
6 CDs = $240
7 CDs = $270
8 CDs = $300 etc.
