Scheduled MACMAPP Training

Included in the MACMAPP grant is a two-day ArcGIS training workshop using the MassGIS DataViewer.  These are held in Boston, Westfield and Fall River and run from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a break for lunch.  Scheduled classes are listed below.  All attendees MUST pre-register by contacting Dominique Pahlavan at MassGIS at  dominique.pahlavan@state.ma.us or 617.626.1184.  We are currently limiting each municipality or conservation organization to three people, although more will be allowed if space permits.

Government Center, Boston

There are currently no classes scheduled in Boston. The EEA training room is being used for another purpose, and is not available to us. A full class was cancelled in January and so the first class that can be scheduled next, probably in May, will be available only to the people in that cancelled class.  Another class open to all grantees will be scheduled in May or early June.

Westfield

MACMAPP training at Westfield State College is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, March 16 and 17, 2009. Please contact Ben Smith at 617.626.1076 or benjamin.smith@state.ma.us if you would like to sign up for this class.

There are no training workshops scheduled at Bristol Community College in Fall River at this time.
