The related file MHDROADS_ARC_INVENTORY (MRD.INV in the Quad library's 'database' directory) file stores
information on the road inventory. The items are:
1 CITY_NUM:
City or Town Number (Abington = 1 ... Yarmouth = 351)
2 RIN: Road
Inventory Number. Uniquely identifies each road within a given town
3 STREET_NAME:
Street name with suffix (added from MRD.STREETS)
4 FRM-ST-NUM:
From Road Inventory Number (RIN)
xxxx = RIN
Xxxx = Bordering town
line, where X=1st letter of bordering town name and xxx=CITY_NUM
0000 = Dead end
00CT = CT state line
00NH = NH state line
00NY = NY state line
00RI = RI state line
00VT = VT state line
8888 = Private property
9999 = Cul-de-sac
Note: From and
To Road Inventory Number are for the entire road (RIN), not for the road
segment (SERIAL_NUMBER).
5 FRM-ST-NAME:
From Street name (added from MRD.STREETS)
Refers to either a
road, a town or state line, a dead end, private property, or a cul-de-sac.

To Road Inventory Number (RIN)
