OVERVIEW

These point datalayers show the level of police employment by colleges and universities in Massachusetts for the years 1991-2004. These layers can be seen in State Police OLIVER (SPOLIVER). These data were originally collected by the Massachusetts Department of State Police. These layers are stored in ArcSDE as spatial views in the EOPS schema and are distributed as POLICE_EMPLOYMENT_COLLEGES_91_S_V through POLICE_EMPLOYMENT_COLLEGES_04_S_V ("_S_V" for spatial view).

Note: Employment data for Tufts university is for all campuses combined, not broken down by campus.
Note: Downloading through OLIVER will change blanks in police employment data to 0s.

The Police Employment by Colleges and Universities datalayer's point attribute table has the following items:

FTSM		Full-time sworn males
FTSF		Full-time sworn females
PTSM		Part-time sworn males
PTSF		Part-time sworn females
FTCM		Full-time civilian males
FTCF		Full-time civilian females
PTCM		Part-time civilian males
PTCF		Part-time civilian females
