Summary of Possible Future Work Needed:

• Shapefiles and .dbf tables need to be turned into point event tables in batch mode.
• Get rid of the requirement that point coverages need x, y to be turned into point event tables.
• Add a status bar to intensive activities, such as creating a point event table from a point coverage
• Create a linear event table from a line coverage?
• Scripts to turn point events and linear events into lat/long or other coordinate system and vice versa.
• Searching for upstream or downstream point or linear events should work on selected records if they exist (otherwise, search the entire table of events).

Basic Viewer Scripts/Elements that have been modified:
 

CreateGUIs - was executed to created a new full.odb for interface tools and menus.
ThemeIDAdd - was modified to read ftrtyp = "point event" or "linear event" from the themeinv.dbf
ThemeSourceCheck - to currently ignore ftrtyp of "point event" or "linear event"
Themeinv.dbf was updated to include centerline themes, point and linear event themes.
FThemeAdd – updated to read grids, and take a list as parameter, so themes could be added but not drawn


Additional Tables:
 

Hotlink.dbf – holds info on text or images to be linked to themes
Multimth.dbf – holds ids of multimouth basins


Additional Functionality:
 

GetPoint tool  and GetPoint script – takes point from user click and returns in chosen projection.
