The Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee (MHLAC) provides understanding of new developments in mental health law, housing law, family law, and disability civil rights law through its legal journal the Advisor and topical resource publications such as the Mental Health Law Guide and the Managed Care Packet. The Managed Care Packet - A collection of articles tracking the development of managed care in the Medicaid mental health system in Massachusetts from 1993-1997. Suggested donation $65. See Table of Contents.

The Handbook on the Legal Rights of Minors - Consisting of 13 chapters, the Handbook deals with virtually every issue relevant to minors and the mental health system in Massachusetts including Access to Services,Treatment Planning, Admission and Commitment, and Civil Rights. The Handbook is a useful guide to individuals, family members, lawyers, and anyone else trying to navigate their way through the Massachusetts mental health system.
