The Massachusetts Office on Disability holds regional meeting for members of local Commissions on Disability and interested people about 8 times a year. It is an opportunity to hear from Myra Berloff, the Director of the Agency. Discussions include the impact of the budget on people with disabilities and an update on what the Massachusetts Office on Disability has been doing throughout the state. There is also be time allowed for a general discussion among commission members. The discussions provide an opportunity to share what your commission has accomplished in the past year as well as provide discussions of any roadblocks you may be encountering.
The following regional commission meetings are being planned for the 2007 year. These meetings are for Commission on Disability members and interested persons. The meetings are held at an accessible locations and last for about three hours. The meetings are a great way to meet others who may have had similar experiences in their communities as you may have had in yours. It is a great way to network with other Commissions.
