MOVA serves as a resource for victim advocates, victim service providers, criminal justice officials and other allied professionals across the state by providing information, referrals and technical assistance on victim rights and services. With the agency's statewide focus, we are able to assist victim service providers and other professionals in linking clients who are crime victims with direct assistance in any part of the state. While MOVA does not provide legal advice, many professionals rely on the agency to verify the current law on various victim issues and to clarify their own legal obligations in working with victims.
