FINANCE/ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
BOARD OF BAR OVERSEERS OF THE SUPREME JUDICIAL COURT

The Board of Bar Overseers seeks an Accounting Assistant to the Manager of Financial Operations. This position requires an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and two years progressively responsible accounts payable and accounts receivable experience. Any combination of experience, education, and training which will provide the level of knowledge, skill, and ability can be substituted for the above requirements. Knowledge of MS Office experience required – intermediate Excel and Word. Professional demeanor, attention to detail, and exceptional interpersonal skills are required. Excellent benefits package includes four weeks vacation after one year, employer paid family health and dental insurance and defined contribution and elective deferral pension plans. Starting salary $53,000, or salary commensurate with experience.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

The Office of the Bar Counsel seeks a technical support specialist. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a minimum of 1-2 years experience providing support in a professional setting. The specialist is expected to adapt to meet the needs of the office by providing computer hardware and software support, assistance, and training to end users; running database reports; maintaining vendor contracts and support; and updating the office’s website. The ideal candidate should have:

The Office of the Bar Counsel seeks a full-time secretary to work with two attorneys. The mission of the Office of Bar Counsel is to protect the public from unethical conduct by lawyers and to preserve and enhance the integrity and high standards of the bar.

Excellent secretarial and computer skills, including proficiency in Word, transcription, scanning, communications and organization. Familiarity with Outlook and Excel and experience with document management systems desirable. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks essential. Must be a team player. Legal office experience preferred.
