Public Reprimand No. 2008-3


Order (public reprimand) entered by the Board January 22, 2008.


On June 6, 2007, the respondent admitted to sufficient facts in Woburn District Court to resisting arrest in violation of G. L. c. 268, § 32B. The incident occurred after the respondent was stopped for speeding and failed to comply with the trooper’s requests. The case was continued without a finding for six months and the respondent was fined $100. The respondent’s conduct violated Mass. R. Prof. C. 8.4(b).

The matter was presented to the Board of Bar Overseers by stipulation of the parties. On January 14, 2008, the Board of Bar Overseers voted to accept the parties’ request that a public reprimand be ordered.
