The following individuals have associated themselves by an agreement in writing for the purpose, and are hereby giving notice to the Board of Bank Incorporation (the "Board") of their intention, of forming a corporation according to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws chapter 168, sections 4 and 5, and any and all acts in amendment thereof and, in conjunction therewith, of forming a savings bank to be known as:

VERITAS BANK

to conduct business from its office in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

SUBSCRIBERS

In determining whether or not to approve this petition, the Board must decide whether competition among banking institutions will be unreasonably effected; public convenience and advantage will be promoted; and whether other statutory criteria are met by the proposal. A public hearing on this petition will be given to all interested parties on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at One South Station, 5th Floor Hearing Room, Boston, Massachusetts. Any interested party other than the Petitioners should file communications, including briefs in favor of or protest, with the Board at the following address by April 17, 2008. The Petitioner's application, and all communications relative to this matter are available for public inspection at One South Station, Third Floor, Boston, Massachusetts 02110.
