DOI Service of Process

The Commissioner of Insurance is authorized to accept service of legal process on behalf of foreign insurance companies that are licensed to do business in the Commonwealth.

Upon receipt of legal process, it is the obligation of the Commissioner to forward a duplicate copy to the foreign insurance company at the home office address on record with the Division.
