This is to inform you that, pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws chapter 30A, the Division of Banks will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., in Hearing Room A, 5th Floor, One South Station, Boston, Massachusetts.
The purpose of this hearing is to afford all interested parties an opportunity to provide oral and written testimony regarding amendments to 209 CMR 42.00: THE LICENSING OF MORTGAGE LENDERS AND MORTGAGE BROKERS. The proposed amendments were filed by the Division based on the regulatory changes recommended by the Division's Mortgage Summit Working Groups. The Mortgage Summit Working Groups completed their work at the end of March, and their recommendations are set forth in the Report of the Mortgage Summit Groups, which is available on the Division's website at
