Illegal Credit Union Shut Down
October 30, 2003 - Today the Division issued a Cease and Desist Orders against a company advertising itself as the "Taxi Drivers Credit Union" and "Auto Club Boston Credit Group, Inc.". The company was ordered to cease engaging in the business of a credit union without a credit union charter and engaging in the business of a mortgage broker and small loan company without a license.
