How to Contact the Division of Insurance

Upon entering the lobby of One Thousand Washington St, you will be asked to sign in and show a photo id to the security guard on duty. You will be unable to access the building without a photo id.<

Visitor parking is available at 1000 Washington Street by entering the attached garage from

321 Harrison Avenue.  A fee is charged.

From Points North:

Take I-93  south toward Boston

Take exit 23 to merge onto Purchase Street 0.3 mi
Continue onto Surface Road 0.4 mi
Take the ramp onto Albany Street 0.3 mi
Turn right at Traveler Street 0.2 mi

Turn right at Harrison Avenue 0.1 mi
Destination will be on the left 0.1 mi
 

From Points West:

Take I-90 (Mass Pike) east toward Boston
Take exit 22, Prudential Center/Copley Square  0.2 mi

Follow signs for Copley Square
Merge onto Stuart Street 0.4 mi
Turn right at Arlington Street 0.3 mi
Arlington Street becomes Herald Street 0.3 mi
Turn right at Harrison Avenue 0.2 mi
Destination will be immediately on the right.

From Points South:

Take I-93 north toward Boston
Take exit 18/ Frontage Road toward Mass Avenue/Roxbury
Merge onto Frontage Road 0.8 mi
Turn left onto East Berkeley Street 0.2 mi
Turn right at Harrison Avenue 0.1 mi
Destination will be on the left 0.1 mi

There is an on-site parking facility. Hourly parking is available.

Via Public Transportation

1000 Washington Street is accessible by the Orange Line (Tufts Medical Center stop) and the Silver Line (SL-4 or SL-5, Herald Street stop). The distance from the Downtown Crossing stop of the Red Line is slightly longer.  Commuter rail users from either North or South Station should connect with the Orange (North Station) or Red (South Station) lines and follow the previous directions.
