The Massachusetts State Board of Registration in Optometry (Board) announced today disciplinary action taken against the following licensee:

Fatima Garcia-Fedorowicz, Stoughton
Under a Consent Agreement, the Board issued a reprimand and imposed a civil administrative penalty of $300 on Garcia-Fedorowicz for supplying a patient with expired contact lenses to use in practicing the handling, insertion and removal of contact lenses and for failing to perform or to document performance of procedures in connection with that patient .

The Division of Professional Licensure is a regulatory agency within the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. The agency is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and the integrity of the licensing process for approximately 330,000 licensees across 43 trades and professions under the jurisdiction of 31 boards of registration.
