Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws chapters 30A, 175, 176A, 176B, 176E, 176F, and 176G, the Division of Insurance ("Division") will hold a hearing on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at its offices, Fifth Floor, One South Station, Boston, Massachusetts, 02110. The purpose of the hearing is to afford all interested persons an opportunity to provide oral and written testimony regarding
proposed 211 CMR 25.00 , Risk-Based Capital (RBC) for Health Organizations.
The Division proposes to promulgate this regulation to better monitor the financial solvency of health organizations licensed under M.G.L. chs. 175, 176A, 176B, 176E, 176F, and 176G, and enable the Division to better ensure that such entities subject to the regulation are capable of fulfilling all of their financial obligations.
Any person who wishes to testify must file a Notice of Intent to Testify with the Division on or before July 20, 2007. All other persons who wish to testify will be heard subsequent to those who notify the Division in advance. Persons wishing to submit written comments may do so until the record of the hearing is closed. All submissions must be sent to: Docket Clerk, Hearings and Appeals, Division of Insurance, One South Station, Boston, Massachusetts, 02110-2208, and must refer to Docket No. G2007-05.
