NOTICE OF HEARING

DOCKET NO. G2014-02

PUBLIC HEARING TO EXAMINE MINUTEMAN HEALTH, INC.’S FINANCIAL CONDITION PURSUANT TO MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL lAWS CHAPTER 176o, SECTION 21  

In accordance with the authority granted to the Commissioner of Insurance under Massachusetts General Laws (“Chapter”) 176O, Section 21, a hearing will be held at the offices of the Division of Insurance (“Division”), 1000 Washington Street, Boston, MA  02118-6200 on June 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. to examine Minuteman Health, Inc.’s overall financial condition as reported in its 2013 Annual Comprehensive Financial Statement and its continued need for additional surplus pursuant to Chapter 176O, Section 21 and 211 CMR 149.00. The purpose of this hearing will be to afford all interested parties an opportunity to provide oral and written statements relating to Minuteman Health, Inc.’s financial condition and its need to maintain additional surplus. The hearing shall also consider such related matters as set forth in any filings related to this matter.

All documents relating to this proceeding shall refer to Docket No. G2014-02 and shall be sent to the Docket Clerk, Hearings and Appeals, Division of Insurance, 1000 Washington Street, Suite 810, Boston, MA 02118-6200, or by electronic mail to doidocket.mailbox@state.ma.us. Persons who wish to present oral or written statements at the June 20, 2014 public hearing should submit a request to do so to the Docket Clerk no later than June 18, 2014, by mail, fax, hand delivery or by email. Those who do not notify the Division in advance will be heard after those who do notify the Division. Any and all filings made relative to this matter may be inspected in the offices of the Division during normal business hours.
