|DATE:||September 25, 2007|
|RE:||Implementation of the Division of Insurance's Online Licensing for Individuals and Entities System ("OLLIE")|
The purpose of this Bulletin is to inform all licensed resident and non-resident insurance producers of the implementation of the first phase of the Division of Insurance's new Online Licensing for Individuals and Entities system, known as "OLLIE", beginning September 25, 2007.
During the initial phase of OLLIE, resident and non-resident individual insurance producers will be able to renew their insurance licenses and pay associated fees in a secure online environment via EFT/ACH electronic funds transfer. Electronic renewal applications that do not require additional Division of Insurance ("Division") review will be processed immediately, and the Division anticipates that licensees will be notified of their license renewals within 48 hours of submitting their completed application online. Comprehensive instructions for online license renewal using OLLIE will be included in future renewal notices sent by the Division to licensed resident and non-resident individual insurance producers. All license renewal fees will remain the same.
Licensed resident and non-resident individual insurance producers also will be able to update their contact information through OLLIE. Additionally, individual insurance producers will be able to enter information in a "Producer Profile", which will be used in an online "Producer Lookup" feature for consumers to be introduced by the Division at a later date.
During the second phase of OLLIE, resident and non-resident business entity insurance producers also will be able to renew their insurance licenses and pay associated fees in a secure online environment, as described above. These business entity producers similarly will be able to enter their contact information, as well as enter information in a "Producer Profile", through the OLLIE system.
The Division anticipates that the implementation of the OLLIE online license renewal system will streamline and accelerate the license renewal process, as well as reduce paperwork and save resources. The OLLIE system may be accessed at http://www.ollieisabreeze.com.
