Exam Application Information:
The Division of Professional Licensure is now working with ABC and AMP to deliver new testing procedures. The exam procedure will now involve the use of computerized exams offered throughout the year at many designated locations in each region. These procedures are developed to make the exams more convenient for potential operators and to reduce the cost for the exams. PCS has been notified to no longer accept drinking water exam applications.
Note: If you have passed the November 2007 exam you have six months to apply for certification with PCS. After 6 months you must re-exam.
Exam Application Process:
Applied Measurement Professionals (AMP) will schedule candidates for examination; the exams will be administered at AMP locations; and candidates will receive their exam score and diagnostic report following completion of exam. In order to apply to take exams please go to www.goamp.com and follow the link for Massachusetts Board of Certification of Operators of Drinking Water Supply Facilities.
Applications for licensure will be given to candidates who pass the exam at the exam site. There will also be an application available on our website.
** Each examinee will pay $131.00 every time they take the exam, even those who do not pass and choose to retake the exam .
