3. VARIANCE REQUESTS:
VR-150) MAYVAL FARM – 149 EASTHAMPTON RD – WESTHAMPTON
The Petitioner (Mr. Henry Parsons, Co-Owner) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.06 (2) (o) (2) to allow PVC pipe in lieu of cast iron pipe for creamery wash water. Additionally, the applicant has conferred with the local plumbing inspector regarding additional plumbing requirements at this location. The Westhampton Board of Health supports this applicant’s request.

VR-151) FALL RIVER READY MIX, LLC – 245 TRIPP ST. – FALL RIVER
The Petitioner (Mr. Mark Shovlin, President) requests a variance from 248 CMR 10.10 (18) Table 1 to retain the one handicap unisex toilet room and waive the required additional handicap unisex toilet room. The Fall River Board of Health supports this variance request.
VR-155) ENGLERT TENAT SUITE – 44 GARDEN STREET - DANVERS
The Petitioner (Mr. Norman St. Hilaire) requests a variance from 248 CMR 10.09 to install a floor/trench drain with the waste going to a 65-120 gallon holding tank below grade. The Danvers Board of Health has been petitioned by the applicant.
VR-147) Board Authorized Pre-Approval – SEALED AIR CORP – 642030 HOMESTEAD AVE - HOLYOKE
The Petitioner (Pamela Neilsen, Plant Manager) requests a variance from 248 CMR 3.04, regarding the installation of unlisted gas equipment. The petitioner provided this office with a copy of the 3rd party test report for this equipment.
VR-152) Board Authorized Pre-Approval – WESTPORT LEGION, LLC – 827-829 AMERICAN LEGION HWY - WESTPORT
The Petitioner (Mr. Ed Landry, V. P., First Bristol Corp.) requests a variance from 248 CMR 10.10 (18) Table 1 to retain the one shower and waive the required additional showers; and to retain the one drinking fountain and install rough plumbing and either bottled water or dispensing machines in lieu of each of the other three required drinking fountains. The Westport Board of Health supports this variance request.
