PV266 STORAGE BUILDING - 50 MANCA DRIVE - GARDNER
The Applicant (Chris Coughlin) Toilet rooms would not be required in the building as it is a storage building where employees will not be expected to spend extended periods of time. There is a new building being constructed adjacent to the storage building with toilet rooms that are accessible. The Gardner Board of Health approved the request at their February 27, 2017 meeting. The Board noted there was no public health reason why a restroom should be installed in this facility and that there will be a restroom in the adjacent administration building.
PV267 - ALUMINI FIELD AMENITIES BUILDING-55 RUSSELL STREET- LITTLETON
The Petitioner (Michael Fontanella) is seeking a variance from 248 CMR 10.10 (18).. The proposed amenities building will provide convenience restroom access for the facility. The Littleton Board of Health has no objection regarding this variance.
PV272 - EMPORIUM - 205 SHREWSBURY STREET - WORCESTER
The Petitioner (Thomas Simulis is seeking a variance from 248 CMR 10.15 to allow the installation of a grinder pump for this location. The request comes from the project engineer, the building owner and Simulis plumbing for the purpose of protecting the inside of the property due to a low water table and the building being located on the lowest portion of Shrewsbury Street where the storm and sanitary drainage is combined and prone to backup beyond any control in storm situations. The grinder pump will act as a check valve situation outside the building preventing any backups directly into the building and leaving any backup water outside protecting the properly. The pump will be located in the sidewalk on Fantasia Street within the building owner's property line. The Worcester Board of Health was properly petitioned.
