VARIANCE REQUESTS:

PV73) DMI CLUB – 60 MILTON STREET (REAR-A) - DEDHAM

The Petitioner (Mr. Nick Cushman) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.10 (18) Table 1. The Petitioner is seeking relief from the requirement to install two handicap restrooms. Mr. Cushman is proposing the installation of one unisex handicapped restroom. The Board office received a copy of the petition letter sent to the Dedham Board of Health. The Dedham Board of Health holds no opinion regarding the one toilet facility.

PV82) ANI CATERING – 687 BELMONT STREET - BELMONT

The Petitioner (Mr. John Janessian, owner) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.10 (18) Table 1. The Petitioner is seeking relief from the requirement to provide two handicap accessible restrooms. Mr. Janessian is proposing the installation of one unisex handicap accessible restroom. The Belmont Board of Health has no issues or objections to this request.

PV89) HEARTHWORKS – 250 MAIN STREET – NORTH READING

The Petitioner (Mr. James Morrill) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.10 (118) Table 1. The Petitioner is seeking relief from the requirement of installing two handicapped accessible restrooms. Mr. Morrill is proposing the installation of one unisex handicapped restroom. The North Reading Board of Health granted a variance to allow a unisex handicapped restroom.

PV90) FEATHER BROOK FARMS – 301 PROSPECT HILL STREET - RAYNHAM

The Petitioner (Mr. Arthur Largey, owner) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.10 (18) (i). The Petitioner seeks relief from the requirement to install employee restrooms in his chicken processing barn. The petitioner notes his home is located 25 feet from the barn. Mr. Largey provided the Board office with a copy of the petition letter sent to the Raynham Board of Health.

PV92) CUMBERLAND FARMS – 132 ELM STREET - AMESBURY

The Petitioner (Ms. Kathleen Sousa, Land Planning Mgr.) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.10 (18) (I). The Petitioner notes the space is approximately 2392 square feet. The petitioner proposes the installation of one unisex accessible restroom. The petitioner proved the Board office with a copy of the petition letter sent to the Amesbury Board of Health.

PV94) NORWOOD COMMERCE CENTER – 61 ENDICOTT STREET - NORWOOD

The Petitioner (Ms. Diane M. Geraghty Hall) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.10 (18) (i). The Petitioner seeks relief from the requirement to install employee facilities in this detached 375 square foot barn. The Norwood Board of Health supports this variance request.

PV99) CHIPOTLE MEXICAN GRILLE-316 NORTH STREET – FANEUIL HALL - CHARLESTOWN

The Petitioner (Mr. Joseph Fiorino, Plumbing Designer) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.10.10 (18) Table 1. The restaurant will occupy 1,263 square feet of space on both the first & second floors. Total seating one the first floor is 18, the second floor is 30. Outdoor seating is 28 and there are 10 employees. Total occupancy is 86. The Petitioner proposes installing male, female and employee restrooms on the 2nd floor only. The petitioner notes there is an elevator outside the entrance to the restaurant. The petitioner provided the Board office with a copy of the petition letter sent to Mr. Gary Moccia, Deputy Commissioner.
