VARIANCE REQUESTS:

PV113) CAMBRIDGE NURSERY SCHOOL – 9 HILLSIDE PLACE - CAMBRIDGE

The Petitioner (Mr. Mark Hammer) requests a variance from 248 CMR 10.10 (18) Table 1. The school is requesting a variance to provide one unisex staff rest room in lieu of the required two rest rooms. This is a two classroom, 1,564 square foot school with 3 full time and 2 part time employees. The Cambridge Board of Health and the Plumbing inspector are in favor of this request.

PV117) SYMMONS INDUSTRIES – 31 BROOK DRIVE - BRAINTREE

The Petitioner (Mr. Dan Kelliher) requests a variance from 248 CMR 10.10 (18) Table 1 to eliminate the requirement for a drinking fountain in this renovated facility. This location will have a fully equipped café where potable drinking water can be easily accessed. The petitioner states that they will providing “rough” plumbing for a future drinking fountain. The Braintree Board of Health has been notified of this variance request.

PV118) SYMMONS INDUSTRIES – 39 BROOK DRIVE - BRAINTREE

The Petitioner (Mr. Dan Kelliher) requests a variance from 248 CMR 10.10 (18) Table 1 to eliminate the requirement for a drinking fountain in this renovated facility. This location will have a fully equipped café where potable drinking water can be easily accessed. The petitioner states that they will providing “rough” plumbing for a future drinking fountain. The Braintree Board of Health has been notified of this variance request.

PV119) MASHPEE WAMPANOAG TRIBE – 483 GREAT NECK ROAD SOUTH - MASHPEE

The Petitioner (Mr. Stephen Viglas) requests a variance from 248 CMR 10.10 (18) Table 1 to eliminate the requirement for rest rooms at this facility. This Meeting House is listed on the National Historic Register and would like to provide a portable toilet for the patrons. The Mashpee Board of Health has been notified of this variance request.

PV120) CROWN LINEN SERVICE – 309 BATTLES STREET - BROCKTON

The Petitioner (Mr. Kevin Provencher) requests a variance from 248 CMR 10.10 (18) Table 1 to eliminate the requirement for showers at this facility. Additionally, the petitioner would like to install water stations in lieu of the required drinking fountains. The Brockton Board of Health has been notified of this variance request.

PV121) CUMBERLAND FARMS – 165 FLANDERS ROAD - WESTBOROUGH

The Petitioner (Mr. Larry Couto from LC Mechanical) requests a variance from 248 CMR 10.06 (2) to allow the installation of a Schedule 40 Polypropylene waste and vent system for the production process. The Westborough Board of Health supports this variance request.
