INFORMATIONAL:

I1) Now appears Mr. Toby Bright address the Board regarding continuing education sanctions.

VARIANCE REQUESTS:

VR1) PERRY'S AUTOMOTIVE - 566 MONPONSETT STREET - HALIFAX

The Petitioner (Mr. Robert Perry, Owner) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.09.(1)(b)1-3. The petition states the building is not designed for floor drains and there are issues with coring. The Halifax Board of Health does not object to the granting of a variance from the requirement of floor drains. The Plumbing Inspector states due to the design of the building and the pre-stress concrete planks, he is in favor of an alternate disposal system in place and monitored. The Building Commissioner states in correspondence it is his opinion any alternative method is preferable to core cutting pre-stressed concrete slabs and causing structural damage.

Variance Withdrawn - The manufacturer of the product in question is applying for product acceptance

VR 2) DIRTY HARRY'S - 417 HARVARD STREET - BROOKLINE

The Petitioner (Mr. Nik Monahan) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 3.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 3.04 (1).
