VARIANCE REQUESTS:
VR 1a UNITED ARTS BLDG. - BROOKLINE HIGH SCHOOL - 46 TAPPEN ST. - BROOKLINE
The Petitioner (Joseph Barrell-President, Arrell Corporation) requests a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.15(10)(a)1., 2 to allow the installation of a sewage ejector that will receive the discharge from all basement floor mounted fixtures in order to prevent sewage back-ups. The upper floors will not be altered and will continue to discharge by gravity flow. The Brookline Board of Health endorses this variance request.

VR 3 JANIS RESEARCH - 2 JEWEL AVENUE - WILMINGTON
The Petitioner (Mr. Pat Robbins, Facilities Manager and Mr. Steve Foster of Duttin & Garfield) request a variance from 248 CMR (Code of Massachusetts Regulation) 10.00, the Uniform State Plumbing Code, Section 10.09(1)(b)1.b to not require floor drains and the installation a gas/oil/sand separator. The Wilmington Board Health supports this variance request.
