.  By the proposed amendments, the Board is seeking to update its regulations to comply with upcoming requirements set by the Appraisal Subcommittee, the Board's federal oversight authority.  Specifically, these changes adopt the latest version of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), as well as updating rules regarding licensure qualifications and reciprocity to meet federal mandates.  A small business impact statement is on file with the Secretary of State's Office regarding these changes.  The hearing will be held at 9:30 a.m. on November 29, 2012 at 1000 Washington Street, 1st Floor, in Boston.  Interested Parties will be given an opportunity to present testimony orally or in writing at this hearing.  The Board will also accept written comments regarding the regulations at 1000 Washington Street, 7th Floor, Boston, MA 02118 or sent via email to through the end of business on November 28, 2012.  A copy of the proposed regulations may be obtained at the Board's web site located at: or by contacting the Board office directly at the above address or by phone: (617) 727-3055.
