Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 112 Section 52, and c. 30A, the Board of Registration of Sanitarians will hold a public hearing relative to amendments and additions to Board regulations (255 CMR 4.00: Registration). By the proposed amendments, the Board of Registration of Sanitarians is proposing to change the documentation required for licensure as a registered sanitarian and increase the time period during which an individual can renew his or her lapsed sanitarian license without having to re-take the licensure examination. The hearing will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in the second floor conference rooms at the Board's offices at 239 Causeway Street in Boston, MA. Interested parties will be given an opportunity to present testimony orally or in writing at this hearing and in writing during a commentary period following the date of the hearing. The commentary period will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2008.
