TO APPLY FOR A FOREIGN TRANSMITTAL AGENCY COMPANY OR CHECK SELLER LICENSE
All applications for company licenses must be filed with the Massachusetts Division of Banks through the Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System & Registry (NMLS). Paper license applications are no longer accepted. Applicants for a foreign transmittal agency or check seller license are instructed to carefully review all applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory bulletins prior to submitting an application.

TO APPLY FOR A FOREIGN TRANSMITTAL AGENT/BRANCH LICENSE
To apply for a foreign transmittal agent/branch license, companies must submit paper applications directly to the Division of Banks. Agent/branch licenses are not currently on NMLS.
