Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professionals Announces Enforcement Action
BOSTON - January 17, 2012 - The Board of Registration of Allied Health Professionals announced today disciplinary action against the following licensees:
Jeannine Lee Palm, Lynn
Jeannine Lee Palm, a Massachusetts Physical Therapy Assistant with license number 743, recently was disciplined by the Board. Palm was ordered to pay the Board a $250 fine. In a Consent Agreement, Palm admitted that she practiced as a PTA in Massachusetts while unlicensed by the Board from April 5, 2011, through Aug. 8, 2011, in violation of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 112, Section 65A.
Tina Senecal, Ware
The Board and Senecal have entered into an agreement under which was fined $1,000. Senecal admitted that she practiced as an occupational therapist while her license to do so was lapsed.
Consumers are urged to visit the Division of Professional Licensure's website at www.mass.gov/dpl and select the "Check a Professional's License" link to determine whether a professional with whom they may do business is licensed and in good standing.
The Division of Professional Licensure is a regulatory agency within the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. The agency is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and the integrity of the licensing process for approximately 365,000 licensees in trades and professions under the jurisdiction of 31 boards of registration.
