Massachusetts Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons Announces Enforcement Action
BOSTON - January 17, 2012 - The Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons announced today disciplinary action against the following licensee:
Barry A. Rosenberg, Marblehead
The Board revoked the real estate broker license of Rosenberg effective Oct. 8, 2011. On July 22, 2011, the Board issued an Order to Show Cause against Rosenberg alleging his failure to timely remit funds and to cooperate with the Board. Specifically, that Rosenberg, in the fall of 2010, failed to timely remit monies to two consumers and failed to remit a commission pursuant to a fee arrangement. Rosenberg failed to provide to the Board escrow records and failed to appear at an investigative conference. Rosenberg failed to answer the Order or otherwise defend himself against the Board’s allegations. Rosenberg may no longer practice as a real estate broker in the Commonwealth.
