The Consumer Assistance and Public Information Unit assists citizens of the Commonwealth by answering questions and investigating complaints raised regarding the institutions regulated or licensed by the Division. The Consumer Assistance Unit may be contacted at (617) 956-1501, Monday through Friday from 8:45am-5pm.

Mortgage Review Board
You may file an appeal with the Mortgage Review Board if you feel your loan was denied based on discrimination in one of the classes protected by law (e.g. race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, marital status, disability, age, sexual orientation, military status). You may file the appeal by signing the appeals section of the denial letter and returning it to the address listed below:
