Political candidates and committees can download all of the materials they need for organizing and filing campaign finance reports with OCPF or their local election officials below.  For a step-by-step guide to organizing a committee, please visit the Getting Started section.

Information Useful to All Candidates and Committees
Non-Depository Candidates
Candidates for the General Court (State Legislature) and the Barnstable Assembly of Delegates report in the Non-Depository system.

Depository Candidates and Committees
Candidates for the six statewide offices (Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Secretary, Treasurer and Auditor), county offices, the Governor's Council, and mayoral and councilor-at-large candidates in Boston, Cambridge, Lowell, Springfield and Worcester.  The state political party committees are also in the Depository system.

State Ballot Question Committees
Political committees organized to support or oppose a question on the state ballot who register with OCPF.

Municipal Ballot Question Committees
Political committees organized to support or oppose a question on their city or town ballot who register with their local election officials.

Political Action Committees and People's Committees
Political committees organized to support or oppose candidates.
