A Message From The Director

Welcome...

to OCPF Online, the web site of the Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF), the independent state agency that administers the state's campaign finance law and the limited public financing program for statewide candidates.

This site is intended to provide information about various aspects of campaign finance and also serve as an online source for educational materials, such as guides and forms for candidates and committees and our quarterly newsletter.  Our web site is continually updated to make it easier to access information. We have added or updated many features, including complete kits for filing by all types of candidates and committees.

The website is also directly linked to the Electronic Filing System (EFS), a searchable campaign finance database containing activity by candidates for statewide office, Governor's Council, the Legislature, county offices and the citywide offices in the five largest cities of the Commonwealth, as well as political action committees and ballot question committees.

OCPF Online is part of this office's primary goal of education and outreach.    OCPF conducts numerous seminars and workshops each year for candidates, committees, public employees and officials and the public.   Our staff also answers thousands of calls each year from those seeking help with reporting or needing answers to questions about campaign finance.   All these activities are geared toward ensuring understanding and compliance with the law and disclosure of campaign finance activity, which is the cornerstone of the law.

If you or your committee or group has a question or is interested in a seminar, please give us a call or send us an e-mail.

Thanks for visiting us!
